It's a bit of a trek to the other side of the world! From leaving home on a sunny autumn morning in the south of Sweden it's almost 48 hours - 4 flights, some hanging around and transfers either end. Absolutely no idea how the jet lag will hit me, but what the heck, I've only got 135 kms to ride on Tuesday;)
So let's sit back, enjoy the Emirates in-flight service, read a few e-books and listen to a few tunes. Starting, very appropriately, with ACDC's "Go Down ". Wonder if Phil Rudd's at home?.....
Oh - and did I mention that my bike travels free all the way from Copenhagen to Christchurch? Thank you SAS & Emirates for being civilized airlines.
